Thank you for working with us. These terms explain how we work together so every job runs smoothly for you, for us and for our customers. Accepting a work order means you agree to them.

1. Your business, your way

You work with us as an independent contractor, using your own tools, team and professional judgment. You decide how the work gets done, set your own hours within the scheduled service window, and are free to work for other companies. You handle your own taxes, licenses and permits, and you are not eligible for employee benefits. Accepting a work order does not change your status with Autech to employee or agent.

2. Extra repairs

We only pay for work we have approved. If you identify other required or recommended repairs, call or text us at (786) 634-4190 before doing them. We’ll confirm approvals by text so we both have a record.

3. Photos and findings

Please send the odometer and generator hours photos, along with your findings, through the job link as soon as possible after the work is done. We need them to close the job and to process your payment.

4. Invoicing

Please send your invoice within 5 business days with the SO number on it, split into vehicle, generator, parts and travel, with the parts receipts attached. This helps us process your payment faster.

5. Payment

Once we receive your invoice and the job documentation, we pay within 5 business days. If something on an invoice needs a correction, we’ll let you know and pay the undisputed part on time.

6. Parts and quality

Please use OEM or OEM-equivalent parts and fluids that meet the specifications on the work order, and pass along any manufacturer warranty on the parts you supply. If something you worked on fails because of the workmanship within 30 days, we count on you to make it right at no charge.

7. On site

Many of our jobs are at secure locations. Please follow all site security, escort and safety rules, and never operate, open or touch the X-ray or scanning equipment. Some sites require background checks or ID; let us know if you can’t meet a site’s requirements. If anything gets damaged or an incident happens, let us know right away.

8. Privacy

Customer names, site locations, vehicle details and photos are private. Please use them only for the job and don’t share or post them. This continues after you stop working with us. Please delete job photos and details once the job is closed and we’ve received them.

9. Customer communication

We handle all communication with our customers. If anyone at the site asks you about pricing, scheduling or additional work, please refer them to us so nothing gets missed.

10. Insurance and responsibility

Please carry general liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence, commercial auto insurance for your work vehicles as required by law, and workers’ compensation if you have employees, and send us a current certificate of insurance before your first job. If you or your team cause damage or injury while doing the work, you’re responsible for it and will cover Autech for any claims, costs or losses that result.

11. Our customers stay with us

The customers and sites we send you to are relationships we’ve built, and we trust you to respect them. While you work with us and for 12 months after your last Autech job, please don’t advertise, offer, quote or promote your services to any customer or site you worked with through Autech. If one of them reaches out to you directly, just let us know and we’ll take care of it.

12. Representing the job on site

When you arrive at a site, you can introduce yourself as a contractor dispatched by Autech LLC for the scheduled service, and show your work order if anyone asks. This tells the site who sent you, but it doesn’t make you an Autech employee or agent. Please don’t sign documents, accept new work, quote prices or make commitments on Autech’s behalf. If anything like that comes up, just give us a call and we’ll handle it.

13. The basics

Each work order is its own job. We don’t guarantee a minimum amount of work, and either of us can stop working together at any time, though accepted jobs should be completed or handed back to us. These terms are governed by the laws of Puerto Rico. We may update them from time to time; the version posted on this page when you accept a job is the one that applies.
